This is why...

I had to post this picture of the Savior. I felt such a reverence for him when I looked at it.

...and here we go!

DAY 1: Refresh the old
Every good Christmas vacation needs to start with a good redecorating project.
Mine happened one snowy day when my husband had work off.
Paint on the walls, bead-board up, tile is done. Add a few accessories, and I have a new guest bathroom!

Day 2: Where is my Camera???

DAY 3: It's off to church!

Sunday before Christmas, Tayden hated the sweater!

DAY 4: Celebrate!
Shea's Christmas program

DAY 5: The giving of gifts.

Some of the gifts the children received from Santa.

DAY 6: Remember the true meaning of Christmas
Christmas always ends with a journal entry into my little Santa book. I write what was special to each child that Christmas and what we were blessed with that year.

She's Crafty!

That old-school rap song "She's Crafty" has been stuck in my head for days now. I have been making things, painting things, and gluing things. Every time I finish something the phrase "'She's Crafty" comes into my head. The things I am making aren't that wonderful, but I can't stop myself. My husband also taught me to use the electric saw and the staple gun, so the possibilities are endless. Some of the ideas are my own and some are inspired by other blogs that I follow.

I decided my table needed to be "aged".
