# Paint

Horizontal...the only way to stripe!

This is my little sister Jamie (the one on the right).
She is talented, beautiful and I love her to pieces.

Remember the crazy
"24-hour" kitchen makeover
we did at her house?

I am in LOVE with her latest project.

Her half bath before...

..and this is after.

BEAUTIFUL!

Horizontal stripes...I love this look. It's a small space and I think it makes it feel bigger. She also added a cute bird towel rack and toilet paper holder.

Before she painted the stripes, she painted her vanity black and put a blue glass knob on.

I must say I am a little envious.  I am homeless until November and I am going through decor withdrawals.

Great Job Jamie!

  3. Beautiful!!!! It looks fantastic :). Although, I do have one question...how did she paint behind the toilet????? She looks to have about as much space as I do between the wall and toilet tank yet, I can't seem to figure out what to use to get paint back there!!! Most rollers are too big. Thanks!!!

  4. Firstly, thanks for clarifying Jamie was on the right. Secondly, I have never seen that done and I must say I'm smitten. Thirdly, if you want to a bathroom to practice on before yours I'm all for it... I'll even help a little. ;)

  5. Thanks for the nice comments :) To get behind the toilet I used a small sponge roller.
