Yucky Metal Lockers Part 1

I purchased these lockers off of Craigslist a few weeks back.  I wanted something unique in my entry way to serve as a coat closet.
They needed a little bit of cleaning and some paint before I could move them out of my garage into my house.  A little bit of bleach and some spray paint and they were ready...(kind of, I still need to find some cool vintage metal numbers off of Etsy).

They were so heavy that my husband and I could barely get them into the house...(well he could have if he had someone more capable to help him)...and they are now resting in my family room.  Though the family room is not where they will stay...for now it will do.

Stay tuned...and maybe they will make it to there final destination.

  1. oh my gosh! i want some lockers so bad. i'd spray them a super bright color and just be forever happy. i love these for real! nice work:)

  2. Love it! You're so lucky!!! Let me know if you find some more! I'd even be willing to pay a finders fee. ;)

  3. I would love to find something like this as a storage cabinet in my little boys room. That'd be really cute!

  4. Great innovation. Yeah, craigslists is a popular website where we can find numerous services as per our desire. The metal locker you purchased looks very nice and elegant. Just a bit eager to know its lock system, as I also wanted to find and keep a list of 24 hour locksmith service in my collection to get helped in time of emergency situation. Anyway, this was really another good read I like to admit and thanks for everything your delivered to us.
